What is Bonita?

Bonita is an open-source helper for a private media library. It organizes video files, manages ID-based metadata, and syncs Emby watch history and favorites. After you deploy it, everything is done in the browser. It is meant to sit next to Emby and optionally Transmission.

Task-based organizing — pick a source folder and an output folder; hard link, soft link, move, or copy
Folder monitoring — new files trigger the matching task; a finished run can ask Emby to scan
ID scraping — custom sites, naming, and folder rules; results can be stored locally
Watch and favorites — view and edit them under Media Items, then sync with Emby
Collections — import an Emby box set, edit members in Bonita, push back
